The UK’s preferred phased approach or “Managed Transition” to any possible future UK changeover to the euro was published in the third outline National Changeover Plan. Following wide informal consultation with our key stakeholders, the Draft Managed Transition Plan sets out what euro services would be available in the event of a UK changeover, when they would be available, and who would provide them.

The document will be reviewed periodically and comments from interested stakeholders are welcome.
